If you’ve been with us since we opened, you’ll remember that we used to charge an annual, $500 per pupil supplies fee. We moved away from requiring this in year 2, replacing it with voluntary Sustaining Enrollment Contributions (SECs). We ask families to make annual or monthly SECs in the amount that works for their budget. Currently we are significantly behind on our Sustaining Enrollment Contributions for this fiscal year. For the past two years we have brought in about $90,000 in SECs per year. As you can see above we still have a long way to go to reach our budgeted $88,000 goal.

What Does Your Contribution Support?

  • Essential staffing positions
  • School supplies
  • Curricular materials

Skills and Services: We understand that families may not be able to make direct Sustaining Enrollment Contributions that fully cover the $1500 per pupil gap. The following Skills and Services are some of the other ways you can help us make up the difference:

  • Be a volunteer substitute.
  • Volunteer to help with “handyperson” items for our building and grounds (e.g. painting, fixing broken items, installing/assembling items, summer building projects).
  • Volunteer your time to run an after school activity/club.
  • Join the Fundraising Committee and/or help with our annual tasks, events, and grant work. We are currently seeking help for our upcoming May 3rd event at Stone Mountain Arts Center (details coming SOON!).
  • Remember, Northeast Woodland is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Ask friends and family to consider making a tax deductible donation to Northeast Woodland.
  • Help advocate for legislation that promotes adequate funding for NH charter schools.
